Important Information for Graduating Seniors

Graduating seniors have until May 15 until their Marino privileges expire. To continue using the gym, alumni may purchase an alumni membership. For more information about alumni memberships, visit the membership page.

Creative Excellence Awards presented to Northeastern

Brian Nelson and Christian Gilbert, Northeastern undergraduate students and employees of Campus Recreation, were presented with three Creative Excellence Awards from the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association on April 5, 2008. Their work won second place for the Campus Recreation website (first place was won by the University of Texas at Austin, third place was won by the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities), third place for an Intramural Sports programming publication, and an honorable mention for their Integrated Marketing Campaign.

Brian and Christian were assisted by Omar Rouhana and Jack Butler.

New Alumni Membership Options Available

Campus Recreation is proud to announce a new membership option available to alumni. Beginning March 1, NU alumni will be able to purchase quarterly memberships to the Marino Center. The first quarterly period is from March 1 to May 31 and it costs $130. All new memberships must be processed at 140 Marino Center, the Campus Recreation office.

This membership is non-refundable and non-transferrable.

Marino Center Welcomes Expresso Bikes

The Campus Recreation department is proud to announce the addition of 5 new S2u exercise systems to the already impressive array of cardio fitness equipment available at the Marino Center. The bikes, made by Expresso Fitness, are on the 2nd floor overlooking the atrium. The S2u incorporates state-of-the-art exercise technology with the latest in video game development to provide a workout that is unlike any other. Come to Marino and try one out today.
