Personal Training Program Description

Initial Assessment Package

The Initial Assessment Package is the option for all new clients, whether you are a first time exerciser or a seasoned athlete. The Package includes three appointments with a trainer as outlined below.

First Appointment (60-75 minutes)

You and your trainer will discuss your responses to the questionnaire packet; as well as the purpose and procedures of the fitness assessment.

Next you will undergo a series of assessments in order for your trainer to gain valuable insight into your current level of fitness.

The assessments may include measurements of heart rate and blood pressure, a flexibility test, a skinfold analysis of body composition, as well as submaximal tests of cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength. We will let you know how to best prepare for these assessments.

Second Appointment (60 minutes)

You and your trainer will review the results of your assessments and begin the process of planning your individualized fitness program. You will also receive thorough instruction in proper exercise techniques, so be prepared to exercise.

Third Appointment (60 minutes)

You will continue to learn more about your new program and receive additional instruction in cardiovascular, resistance, flexibility, or sport-specific training.

Individual Sessions

Individual sessions are appropriate for any exerciser who has already completed the Initial Assessment Package and would like to continue exercising with a trainer. You can establish a regular meeting schedule or simply make an appointment whenever you choose. You may also discontinue training at any time.
